Crown Update
Following completion of the Final Fantasy XV game and guide, Square Enix continued development to produce version 1.02, also known as the Crown Update. This includes assorted refinements, new items and cutscenes, as well as some adjustments to game mechanics. Version 1.02 was finalized weeks after the guide went to print, so we’re presenting the Crown Update amendments in this downloadable addendum. These pages will enable you to benefit from all changes and updates included in version 1.02.

“Stunningly beautiful and complete guide book”
“I am not one for game guides, however I wanted to pick this one up as Final Fantasy games have many hidden items and quests. Although the game starts off pretty easy to find everything, once you get into it it opens up drastically and there are lots of things to miss. This guide is flawless, covering everything from sidequests, boss strategies & maps to tips and tricks to getting 100% completion. The book is stunningly beautiful I can’t say enough about the presentation. This guide has totally changed my mind of using guides in games just to find every nook and cranny. I picked up another copy to keep sealed just for my collection.”

“Awesome collector’s item and awesome guide”
“Awesome quality, awesome guide! This hardcover guide was really good for the game. Some may say that because of the continuing update of the game in terms of balance changes and additional content that it is rendered useless but this is not the case. I found that it is awesome for going through the story still, this many months out from release. Additionally, Ive found the maps to be incredibly helpful. It is something nice about having the map in my hand versus trying to look at a pc screen. They also have highlighted the proper routes to take during many moments in quests. Lastly boss strategies remain relevant with weaknesses and drops accurately detailed. Dialogue choices remain relevant as well. Overall I used this guide extensively during my 84 hour playthrough of the game and found the detail of the hunts and weakness and locations, maps, quests, and how to go through stealth missions useful. Awesome collectors item and awesome guide.”
